The catamaran “Volcán de Tagoro” travels to Spain via Panama
The catamaran “Volcán de Tagoro” –captain, Iván Concepción–, the most advanced in the world in its class, has departed today from the port of Hobart, Tasmania, on its official delivery voyage. The first stop on its long journey will be in Auckland (north of New Zealand) and it is then scheduled to call at Papetee, Tahiti before crossing the Panama Canal, from where it will continue to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The transit is estimated to take 21 days.
The new vessel is the most innovative and revolutionary bet of the Armas-Trasmediterránea Group and will be the major novelty of the year in the Spanish merchant marine, which is at the forefront of Europe in high-speed vessels.
