Virtual Visit to the Centenary Exhibition of Trasmediterránea
Taking advantage of the opportunities provided by new technologies, Trasmediterránea brings the Centenary exhibition open at the Museu Maritim de Barcelona closer, where it will remain until May 2, with an offer of videos of the different spaces to carry out an immersive virtual visit, thanks to the generation of plans with precise measurements of spaces.
On the website www.centenariotrasmediterranea.com you can discover and enjoy the exhibited pieces and read the explanatory texts of the exhibition as if you were visiting it in the museum itself. The captured reality work has been carried out by Acciona Producciones y Diseño (APD).
A solution that allows obtaining the 3D digital model through the capture of 360º photographs combined with infrared sensor technology, which speeds up data collection and generates a 3D model of reality in a very short time as well as the construction plan of the captured real environments.
The virtual visit allows you to get closer to the collections and pieces exhibited at the Museu Marítim. Among them are various models, including the first “Ciudad de Palma”, the flight attendant uniform designed by Elio Berhanyer, navigation devices, and everyday objects from life on board such as tableware or ship furniture, among others. Within this virtual visit, you can access the “audiovisual cube” that reviews in a video the hundred years of Trasmediterránea.
