The roll-on ships “Villa de Tazacorte” and “Josefina de la Torre” exchange their itineraries and schedules starting August 15
Baleària Canarias has decided to exchange the weekly itineraries of the roll-on ships “Villa de Tazacorte” and “Josefina de la Torre”. For this reason, both ships coincided yesterday at the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and starting tomorrow, August 15, the new schedule will come into effect, which will be in place until March 31, 2027.
As a result, the roll-on ship “Villa de Tazacorte” will depart from Cádiz every Tuesday at 1 PM on a direct trip to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, arriving in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on Wednesday morning. On Thursday afternoon, it will travel to Santa Cruz de La Palma, where it will operate on Friday before returning to Santa Cruz de Tenerife and continuing to Las Palmas by mid-morning, then proceeding to Cádiz.
The roll-on ship “Josefina de la Torre” will depart from Cádiz every Saturday at 2 PM. On Sunday afternoon, it will operate in Arrecife de Lanzarote before continuing to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, arriving in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on Monday morning. Between Monday night and Tuesday, it will return to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and Santa Cruz de La Palma, where it will operate on Wednesday and that night depart from Santa Cruz de Tenerife on a direct trip to Cádiz.
With this exchange of ships and itineraries, Baleària Canarias meets the requests of its customers, who have welcomed this reorganization of services, in which both ships provide over 6,000 linear meters of roll-on cargo capacity. This is in addition to the cargo capacity of the ferry “Volcán de Tinamar” in its double weekly rotation between Cádiz and the Canary Islands, where it is performing excellently, as evidenced by the high occupancy levels.
