Trasmediterránea Promotes New Technologies Onboard

Trasmediterránea is betting this summer on providing its passengers with a complete onboard experience through new technologies. The Málaga-Melilla route is one of the connections chosen to start with innovations already underway: higher quality wifi on the ship “Fortuny,” which has multiplied navigation speed by nine to offer the best connection at sea.

In addition, an entertainment portal will be implemented across the entire passenger fleet, allowing passengers to watch movies, series, stand-up comedy, and cartoons from their mobile devices. Digital signage has also been incorporated on the aforementioned ship to inform customers of promotions in real-time and provide travel-related information. All these innovations will be gradually implemented on the rest of the passenger ships.
