The Tenerife Port, Full of Drilling Vessels
The southern dock of the Tenerife port once again displays the striking sight of two drilling vessels, which were docked at the East dock until yesterday. These are the vessels “Ensco DS-4” and “Ensco DS-5”, which have vacated the space for the drilling vessel “West Capella”, currently anchored in the outer port and in need of repairs with assistance from land.
To dock the aforementioned vessels at the southern dock, it was necessary to move the flotel “Floatel Reliance” about three hundred meters, which required, as in previous cases, a meticulous operation involving pilots, tugboats, mooring crews, port police, and auxiliary services. Meanwhile, preparations are underway for the docking at the Los Llanos Dock for the platform “ODN Tay IV”, which is expected to have a long stay.
