“Stena President” in Santa Cruz de Tenerife
Frequently, the ships of Concordia Maritime AB dock at the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife for provisioning, spare parts collection, crew change, and bunkering supply. A stop with the right timing and price, demonstrating the efficiency of port services and the reliability of the Tenerife port as a permanent station in this area of the Atlantic.
This company has a fleet of nine vessels, seven P-max –including the tanker “Stena President”, which we see in the image by Ramón Acosta Merino– and two IMOIIMAX. The one in question, flagged in Bermuda, entered service in September 2007.
Built in Croatia, it registers 65,200 deadweight tons with a hull length of 182.90 m, a beam of 40 m, a depth of 17.90 m, and a draft of 11.30 m. It is powered by two Burmeister & Wain engines totaling 14,600 kW and maintains a speed of 14.5 knots. IMO Code 9312444.
