Second Dry Docking of the HSC “Volcán de Tagoro” at Navantia Cádiz
The catamaran “Volcán de Tagoro” has been stranded since this morning at Navantia Cádiz, where it is undergoing its third annual regulatory inspection. The first inspection was also conducted in the same dock, and the second one took place at Gibdock, making this the second time it has been at the Cádiz facility. Due to its beam dimensions, it cannot fit in the syncrolift at ASTICAN. For this reason, the “maritime bridge” of Naviera Armas Trasmediterránea between the two Canary Islands capitals will be operated for three weeks by the catamarans “Volcán de Taidía” and “Villa de Agaete.”
