The Scrapping of the Former Patrol Boat “Chilreu” in Its Final Phase

This is the image that this weekend offered, viewed from the Campa de Torres, of the scrapping of the former patrol boat “Chilreu”, which we see has been beached on the ramp for the final touches. The work is being carried out by the staff of DDR Vessels, a company with Asturian capital based in the port of El Musel, near Gijón, where the scrapping of the ship “Aquila Explorer” is also waiting its turn. According to maritime media, the ferry “Gran Canaria Car”, from Flota Suardíaz, will be the third on the list and has been docked at a nearby pier for several days.
