Interiors of the Catamaran “Ciudad de Ceuta” Renovated
Naviera Armas Trasmediterránea has renovated the interior image of the fast catamaran “Ciudad de Ceuta”, which covers the Algeciras-Ceuta route, the company reports. With the aim of improving the onboard experience and supervised by the Director of Onboard Services, Evelio Sosa Cárdenes, the company has made “significant changes”, such as the renovation of all lighting with LED bulbs and the signage of access points with white and blue LED lights.
Additionally, the shop and the aft area have been refurbished, a place that receives more direct light and has been painted white to enhance its visibility at night.
After the remodeling, new sections of flooring and grass have been added in the aft for the enjoyment of passengers. All economy class seats, as well as the Premium class area, have been reupholstered. For Premium class customers, exclusive access from the hold has been included.
The vessel has a capacity for 866 passengers and 220 vehicles and reaches a speed of 35 knots. Among the services that Naviera Armas Trasmediterránea offers onboard, the fast ferry includes shops and a café, seating in economy class and Premium class with collective television monitors adapted for people with reduced mobility and pet-friendly areas, which includes part of the terrace located at the stern of the ship.
Special Trips
Naviera Armas Trasmediterránea will carry out a special program between April 13 and 16 on the route between Ceuta and Algeciras and vice versa to ensure the demand for seats during the Easter holidays. During this period, the company offers a total of 19 departures between both ports operated by the catamaran “Ciudad de Ceuta”, which covers the journey in one hour.
