"Queen Victoria" and "Costa neoRomántica" Meet in Vigo
Back in the port of Vigo yesterday, the elegant maritime silhouette of the ship “Queen Victoria” and that of the ship “Costa neoRomántica”, which we cannot say the same about after the transformation and addition of new decks, leaving it closer to an aesthetic eyesore. The former arrived early from Funchal on its way to Southampton, with an expedition of 1,921 passengers and 954 crew members. The latter had 1,620 passengers and 616 crew members.
The presence of both ships in the port of Vigo “livened up the port area and the scheduled excursions to Santiago de Compostela, La Toja, and Cambados set off aboard 27 buses. There was a lot of activity in the city center until the ships departed,” says Alfredo Campos Brandón, the author of the accompanying photos.
