The ships “Queen Elizabeth” and “Aurora” meet in La Palma
In the midst of the winter maritime tourism campaign, today the ships “Queen Elizabeth” and “Aurora” have gathered at the port of Santa Cruz de La Palma, representatives of two prestigious British companies: Cunard Line and P&O Cruises. Due to draft reasons, although not very suitable for passenger transit, the latter docked at the side pier and the ferry “Ciudad de Cádiz” has docked where the ferry “Volcán de Taburiente” usually docks.
A quite lively day in the historic center of Santa Cruz de La Palma, with several hundred tourists wandering through its streets and enjoying the good weather in nearby cafes and bars, while others chose the option of excursions into the interior of the island, preferring the volcanoes of Fuencaliente and a stop at Bodegas Teneguía, while others preferred the north of the island.
