New Suardíaz Service Between Northern Europe and the Canary Islands
Since January 26, Suardíaz has been offering a new weekly service between ports in Northern Europe, Santander, the Canary Islands, Morocco, and Algeria. The service will be covered by the ro-ro vessels “Galicia,” “Viking of Oslo,” and “Verona,” which have an average capacity of 1,280 linear meters of roll-on/roll-off cargo for the transport of cars, trucks, trailers, and machinery.
The vessel “Verona” made its inaugural call in Santander on February 8, disembarking 671 vehicles, demonstrating the potential of the new connection promoted by Suardíaz. The new service strengthens the connections between the mentioned ports. Santander is also connected with ro-ro services to England, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Finland, Russia, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the east coast of the United States, Central America, and South America.
