MSC Denies Rumors of Possible Share Purchase in Hapag-Lloyd

MSC has denied reports suggesting a possible interest in acquiring a stake in the German company Hapag-Lloyd.

This information was published by the German economic magazine Manager Magazin, which announced exclusively that MSC was in talks with the main shareholders of Hapag-Lloyd to enter its capital, following several previous attempts that had not been successful.

In response to these rumors, a spokesperson for MSC stated that the published information “is neither true nor correct”, while sources close to Hapag-Lloyd described the news as “pure speculation.”
