Launch of the ship “Valiant Lady” at the port of A Coruña

The port of A Coruña has welcomed the first call of the mega cruise ship “Valiant Lady” (IMO 9805336). Registered in the Bahamas, this ship features a striking design with a capacity for 2,770 passengers and 1,160 crew members, built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Sestri Ponente, and is the second of a series of four units.

It is owned by Virgin Voyages, a company founded by British magnate Richard Branson, and A Coruña is the first Spanish port where this eye-catching ship of the 21st-century tourism industry docks. Next Saturday it will be in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and on Sunday in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
