Launch of the “Tui Discovery” Ship in Palma
This is the appearance of the “Tui Discovery” ship upon its arrival at the port of Palma, freshly out of the Navantia shipyard in Cádiz, where it has been refurbished for its new phase. As our readers know, it is the former “Splendour of the Seas” and is operated by Thomson Cruises.
On April 21, Thomson Cruises presented its new program for the summer of 2016, in which the “Tui Discovery” will have its summer base in Palma de Mallorca. It has a capacity for 1,830 passengers accommodated in 915 cabins, of which nearly 40% have balconies. It is aimed at British tourists and will operate a route with stops in Italy, France, and southern Spain.
