José Rafael Díaz Hernández, Director of the Port of Almería

José Rafael Díaz Hernández has been appointed the new director of the Port Authority of Almería, during the board meeting held this morning at the headquarters of the mentioned organization. His appointment was made unanimously and with the support of all provincial public institutions.

The technical profile and sector experience of José Rafael Díaz Hernández were decisive for his appointment.

With his incorporation, it is intended to boost the projects that make up the Port-City area, the diversification of port business, and a strategic and international push for the ports of Almería and Carboneras.

The new director replaces Juan Manuel Reyes, the dean director of the state port system, who leaves the position after a long and successful career.
