InterShipping Charters the Ferry “Stena Europe” for the OPE

The Moroccan shipping company InterShipping has announced via its social media the chartering of the Cypriot-flagged ferry “Stena Europe” (IMO 7901760), replacing the ferry “Stena Vinga”, for its upcoming addition to the Algeciras-Tanger Med route. The mentioned vessel is currently docked in Falmouth.

Built in Sweden and in service since 1981, it is a ship of 24,828 gross tons with a total length of 149 m, a beam of 26.55 m, and a maximum draft of 6.12 m. It has capacity for 1,120 passengers and 456 cars and is powered by four Wärtsila engines, with a power of 15,360 kW and a speed of 18 knots.
