Intense Container Traffic Activity at the Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Today has been a day of special activity at the container terminals of the Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. This means, among other things, that there is greater demand for goods and that the economy in the Tenerife province is recovering and on the rise. In fact, the numbers of port movement in recent months clearly reflect this.

During the morning, the container ships “Daniela B” –whose berth, upon departure, is occupied by the ship “Heinrich Schepers”–, “Verónica B”, “Bárbara P”, and “Andrea” have been operating. The oil tanker “Lipari M”, under repairs, is also occupying a berth at the corner of the El Bufadero dock. At the end of the south dock is the oil tanker “Torm Mathilde” (61,724 GRT), also under repairs.
