Grupo JSV Expands Its Fleet with the Container Ship "Green Canarias", Nearly 20 Years Old

The Grupo JSV, a Spanish multimodal logistics operator, continues its growth strategy with the addition of a third owned vessel to its fleet, the container ship "Green Canarias" (IMO 9349227), which is nearly 20 years old.

The "Green Canarias" vessel, flagged in the Netherlands, was previously chartered by JSV under the name "Njord". It has a capacity of 809 TEUs and is equipped with a scrubber system, a technology that cleans the engine exhaust gases and helps reduce emissions during navigation.

With this addition, JSV now has a total of three more efficient owned vessels that meet the new environmental demands of maritime transport.

As explained by Sonia Herzog, CEO of Grupo JSV, having an owned fleet allows the company to ensure faster, more reliable, and sustainable connections, especially on its routes to the Canary Islands and Turkey.
