Fred. Olsen Express offers 435,000 seats for Holy Week
Fred. Olsen Express strengthens its inter-island services for Holy Week, with an increase of 14,000 seats over its usual offer. In total, it will provide 492 round-trip connections to meet the expected demand of passengers between April 8 and 18, reaching a total offer of more than 435,000 seats.
In this way, the shipping company considers the increase in tourist activity and travel between islands. The service reinforcement represents an increase in the number of trips of almost 70% compared to Holy Week 2021 and 47% more seats for passengers, gradually recovering the figures prior to the pandemic.
The company has enhanced connections between Gran Canaria–Fuerteventura with up to four daily frequencies; and Tenerife–La Gomera, with up to five departures a day from each port, being both destinations where the highest number of travelers is expected.
Fred. Olsen Express reminds that safety measures on board remain in place, including its thorough disinfection protocols, its staggered disembarkation system, and the safety distance between passengers, as well as preferred payment by card.
