Explora Journeys Chooses Barcelona for the Official Debut of Its New Cruise "Explora III"

Explora Journeys has celebrated the official inauguration of its new cruise "Explora III" at the port of Barcelona, the third in its fleet and the first powered by LNG.

The ship was delivered by Fincantieri on July 23 in Genoa and subsequently traveled to the port of Barcelona to celebrate its presentation ceremony. The event, held on August 1, brought together representatives from the shipping company and the MSC Group, as well as port authorities and industry guests. Cristina Ozores was the ship's godmother.

The new cruise "Explora III" measures 268 meters in length and has a capacity for 900 passengers, distributed in 463 exterior cabins with balconies.

After its debut in Barcelona, it will begin a seven-night inaugural cruise to Lisbon. It will then sail through Northern Europe, Iceland, Greenland, and North America, as part of its first operational season.
