Drilling Ship “ENSCO DS6” Reactivated After Six Months in Tenerife
ENSCO is one of the good “offshore” clients of the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. In recent months, three of its drilling ships have been moored at the East dock, carrying out maintenance and naval repairs. One of them, named “ENSCO DS6”, has been reactivated and is now at sea, visible from Santa Cruz, about five miles away.
For the maneuver to exit the ship “ENSCO DS6”, it was also necessary to maneuver the twin ships “ENSCO DS1” and “ENSCO DS2”, which are docked at the end of the south pier. The Port Authority reports that the cost of the work carried out on board the ship “ENSCO DS6” by Tenerife Shipyard and associated companies is around seven million euros.
