The Crew of the Ship “Clodomira” Endures the Harsh Climate of Vietnam
Problems continue to accumulate for the crew of the Panamanian ship “Clodomira” – one of the vessels controlled by the Cuban Merchant Marine – which is anchored in the waters of Vietnam, without air conditioning for some time and in a highly humid environment, while loading rice in bags. This ship was already detained in Panama two months ago due to engine problems while en route to China loaded with bulk sugar.
Owned by the Greek company Nordstrand Maritime & Trading, the ship “Clodomira” (IMO 9571648), built in 2011 in China, is a “handymax” type with a gross tonnage of 22,414 and a length of 180 m.
