Civil Guard rescues six people adrift in a recreational boat near Santa Cruz de Tenerife
The Civil Guard has assisted six people who were adrift in a recreational boat near the coast of Santa Cruz de Tenerife after their engine suffered a breakdown.
Agents from the Maritime Service of the Civil Guard in Tenerife were conducting surveillance along the coast when they spotted the boat's crew signaling for help.
Upon approaching, the individuals on board explained that the engine had stopped working, and the strong winds in the area were pushing the boat, putting them in danger.
The agents proceeded to secure the boat to the patrol vessel and towed it to the nearest docking point. The maneuver was carried out with all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of the occupants.
