“Cecilia Payne” Takes Over the Algeciras-Ceuta Route

Balearia has incorporated the Cypriot-flagged catamaran “Cecilia Payne” (IMO 9188881) into the Ceuta-Algeciras route, covering for the catamaran “Avemar Dos”, which is entering dry dock at Gibdock until the end of the month. The schedule of five daily rotations remains unchanged.

The most versatile of Balearia's catamarans – it maintains greater speed than the “technological jewel” of the company, according to its president, Adolfo Utor – has a capacity for 800 passengers and 200 cars. Recently, a complete renovation of its tourist and VIP class interiors and carpets, among other works, has been carried out.
