"Callisto" in Trouble in Tenerife

The Port Police and personnel from the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife have come to the aid of the vessel "Callisto," which is docked at the Los Llanos Dock and is in trouble. A water ingress has been detected, prompting the activation of external bilge pumps to try to keep it afloat and repair the damage.

Personnel from Maritime Rescue and the Maritime Captaincy are also involved. Apparently, the engine room and other compartments below the waterline are flooded and mixed with hydrocarbons. The vessel is an old fishing boat of Dutch origin built in 1962, dedicated to underwater sports activities.
