“Boluda Tramontana” Ends Its Maritime Life in Huelva

One of the last constructions of the defunct Neptuno Shipyards in Valencia awaits in the port of Huelva for the final moment of dismantling. This is the tugboat “Boluda Tramontana”, which has been named since 1990 the former “Boluda Quinto”.

In service since May 1976, it is a vessel of 147 gross tons and 80 tons deadweight, measuring 27.50 m in length, 7.50 m in beam, and 3.60 m in draft. Powered by a MWM engine of 2,050 horsepower, it maintained a speed of 11 knots and a towing capacity of 27 tons. IMO Code 7408500.
