Incat Crowther Advances in the Construction of Three Offshore Support Vessels for Azerbaijan
Incat Crowther has showcased the progress in the construction of the first of three personnel transport vessels designed for an offshore energy services operator in Azerbaijan. The work is being carried out at the Baku Shipyard.
The three units will measure 42 meters in length and will be equipped with DP2 dynamic positioning systems, allowing them to maintain their position accurately during operations in the Caspian Sea.
The vessels are designed to reach a maximum speed of 22 knots and will be adapted to the existing offshore energy facilities in the area. Each unit will be able to transport up to 50 workers.
The aft deck will have space to carry up to 20 tons of cargo, and each vessel will be equipped with a Walk2Work gangway, designed to facilitate the safe and efficient transfer of personnel to offshore facilities.
