Accident of the tanker “Patagonia 100” in the port of Las Palmas

The tanker “Patagonia 100”, chartered by Peninsula Petroleum for bunkering operations at the port of Las Palmas, suffered a significant incident last night while maneuvering in the anchorage. Apparently, while maneuvering near another anchored vessel called "Star Cosmo", it cut the bow very closely and the swell pushed it on top. The damage on deck is considerable, taking the anchor chain ahead and the reinforcement of the scupper.
