ABB and Incat Tasmania Plan Hybrid-Electric Ferry

ABB and Incat Tasmania have signed a collaboration protocol for the development of a zero-emission hybrid-electric propulsion ferry. The Incat 148E project refers to a 148-meter ropax catamaran with a speed of 21 knots, which aims to be a future transportation solution using completely green energy. The classification will be handled by the DNV society.
